New Menu: What would you like after you die?
Choice No.1 Being buried 6-feet under in a cemetery. Then as the years go by all those BIG black spiders and other creepy crawlers work their way into your coffin and just start nibbling away of what is left of you.
Choice No.2 Being cremated over a bar-b-q like pit that is about ten million degrees Celsius. You will then look worse than a burned out flat tire from a Peterbilt truck. But then again who cares because the final stage are your ashes.
If you act now before it's too late, then you may have more choices.
Choice No.3 for all you environmentalist who believe going green is the right thing to do to help our environment. Get your body liquefied when you die. What better gift can you give back to planet Earth than a freeze dried or liquefied resomation?
Now I'm truly convinced this is what we all should do. Let's all go green now and after we die.

Ajarn Donald's / Top Trumps / MacMillan One Stop English
With the global population at around seven billion, environmental campaigners in the UK are addressing the taboo subject of family size. Leading environmentalists say that large families, such as the Beckhams, are a drain on the world’s resources and people should consider having fewer children for the sake of the planet.
We’ve teamed up with the makers of Top Trumps (one of the best-loved children’s card games ever) to bring you a series of brand-new teaching materials, perfect for injecting some game-play into your young learner classes.
Onestopenglish is a teachers' resource site published by Macmillan English Campus, part of the Macmillan Education Group, one of the world’s leading publishers of English language teaching materials.

FRENCH ACTOR GERARD DEPARDIEU PEES IN PLANE CABIN
An airline passenger says her Paris-to-Dublin flight was delayed nearly two hours after celebrated French actor Gerard Depardieu urinated on the plane ahead of takeoff.
French actor Gerard Depardieu urinated on the floor of an Air France plane after flight attendants told him to wait 15 minutes before using the restrooms aboard a flight departing Paris.
All my bags are packed I'm ready to go
I'm standin' here outside your door
I hate to wake you up to say goodbye
But the dawn is breakin' it's early morn
The taxi's waitin' he's blowin' his horn
Already I'm so lonesome I could die
So kiss me and smile for me
Tell me that you'll wait for me
Hold me like you'll never let me go
Cause I'm peeing' on a jet plane
Don't know when I'll be back again
Oh babe, I have to go
There's so many times I've let you down
So many times I've played around
I tell you now, they don't mean a thing
Every place I go, I'll think of you
Every song I sing, I'll sing for you
When I come back, I'll bring your wedding ring
So kiss me and smile for me
Tell me that you'll wait for me
Hold me like you'll never let me go
Cause I'm peeing' on a jet plane
Don't know when I'll be back again
Oh babe, I have to go
Guitar Solo
Now the time has come to leave you
One more time let me kiss you
Close your eyes I'll be on my way
Dream about the days to come
When I won't have to pee alone
About the times, I won't have to say
So kiss me and smile for me
Tell me that you'll wait for me
Hold me like you'll never let me go
Cause I'm peeing' on a jet plane
Don't know when I'll be back again
Oh baby, I have to go
Cause I'm peeing' on a jet plane
Don't know when I'll be back again
Oh babe, I have to go
French actor Gerard Depardieu urinated on the floor of an Air France plane after flight attendants told him to wait 15 minutes before using the restrooms aboard a flight departing Paris.
A passenger on the plane quoted Depardieu as saying aboard the Tuesday night flight: "'I need to piss, I need to piss," according to France's Europe-1 radio. The passenger, identified only by her first name Daniele, said the actor appeared inebriated and when the cabin crew told him to remain seated during takeoff, "he stood up and did it (urinated) on the aisle floor."
The peeing incident caused the flight from Paris to Dublin to be delayed nearly two hours while crews cleaned up the mess.
Air France confirmed Depardieu's actions, but did not announce whether it planned to take any action against the actor.

Is Your Child a Kinesthetic Learner?
According to proponents of the learning styles theory, students who have a predominantly kinesthetic learning style are thought to be natural discovery learners: they have realizations through doing, as opposed to having thought first before initiating action. They may struggle to learn by reading or listening.
When revising it helps for the student to move around as this increases the students understanding with learners generally getting better marks in exams when they use that style. The kinesthetic learner usually does well in things such as chemistry experiments, sporting activities, art and acting. They also may listen to music while learning or studying. It is common for kinesthetic learners to focus on two different things at the same time. They will remember things by going back in their minds to what their body was doing. They also have very high hand-eye coordination and very quick receptors.
Kinesthetic learning is a learning style in which learning takes place by the learner using their body in order to express a thought, an idea or an understanding of a particular concept (which could be related to any field).
People with dominant kinesthetic and tactile learning style are commonly known as do-ers. In an elementary classroom setting, these students may stand out because of their constant need to move; high levels of energy which may cause them to be agitated, restless and/or impatient. Kinesthetic learners' short- and long-term memory is strengthened by their use of their own body's movements.

New Strategy: Cooperation Without Corruption (CWC)
There is actually an easy and reasonable solution to this problem. It hasn't been tried before and now with a new government in place, they have the chance to make this work. It's called cooperation without corruption (CWC - Ajarn Donald's meaning). Paying teachers danger money to continue working in high risk unsafe territories is simply stupid. But use that money along with the proposed money to buy every student a hand held computer (which is as stupid as danger money itself), and create a new serious and professional security force that must coordinate their actions, plans and strategies to come about an end to this problem and assure that everyone will have a chance to live a normal and secure life just like all the MP's and the Prime Minister.

Bangkok Post : Top choices spurn Thaksin
Kittirat Na-Ranong says he guarantees the sale of shares from Ample Rich to Thaksin's son and daughter, Panthongtae and Pinthongtha was legitimate. But when it was revealed the shares were actually sold outside the market he said that both of them had ticked the wrong box in their filing and the mistake was corrected. How convenient for them. If this would have happened to someone else other than a Thaksin, prison and fines would be the order of the day.

Here's a little money to help you with your retirement Mr. Officer.

Ajarn Donald's Fantastic Free Resource Sites
Fantastic Free Resource Sites
Thai schools are in desperate need of overhauling. Low wages, shortage of qualified teachers and budgets that have been reduced to the same amount as I receive for my allowance from my wife. I'm here to share with you the free resource sites that I've personally checked out. I have checked out more than 5,000 sites with at least 80% being directly related to educational resources. The remaining 20% would be sites that are considered secondary to educational resources. More about this topic in a future blog. Let's start with what Thai students fear the most, speaking and listening. What does 200,000,000,000 mean? It really amazes me because this number represents a rough figure of what the largest company in the world (Google) is worth today. It also represents the number of times when my former students used to approach me in the mornings, and I would then greet them (good morning, how are you today)? All Thai schools, principals and teachers would seem very satisfied if they could get every student to reply (I'm fine, thank you and you).
My First Pic Goes to Randall's ESL Cyber Listening Lab Randall's ESL Cyber Listening Lab
Mr. Randall Davis has gone through great lengths and spent countless amount of time putting together a huge sites (actually several sites) devoted to listening and speaking. I must say he is one of my personal favorite educational professionals who aims to make a difference in the lives of ESL/EFL learners.
