SUCCESSFUL COLLEGE STUDENT’S PYRAMID

Image
Presented By: Online Colleges In recent years, reports about college students participating in pyramid selling are often seen in media and a number of colleges and universities have been involved in the "pyramid selling gate" incident. It has aroused accusation from the parents and concerns from the whole society and caused a very bad influence on both the image of contemporary college students and the reputation of colleges and universities. The momentum pyramid selling invading college has not been reversed effectively and thoroughly. How to train the students'ability and quality to prevent pyramid selling and consciously resist pyramid selling, and guide them to establish a scientific world outlook , outlook on life, values and the rule of law concept in order to prevent the pyramid selling from spreading in colleges and universities , is directly related to the college students'healthy growth, as well as the stability and harmonious development of universit...

Most Valuable Global Brands 2012

Image
From: Connecticut Ford Via: BrandZ 2012 BrandZ Top 100 Almost half of the Top 100 brands lost value. Brands last declined this broadly during the depths of the 2009 global recession . But financial performance, not brand , was the more critical determinant for 35 of the 49 brands that declined. Brand Contribution—the measurement of brand strength exclusive of financials or any other factors—generally remained stable or increased for most brands and provided the buoyancy to navigate the year’s turbulence. One in five of the 2012 BrandZ™ Top 100 brands came from a fast growing economy. But the total value of those brands slipped slightly for the first time to $330.8 billion because of the business slowdown in Brazil and China . Brand value fluctuations in the 2012 BrandZ™ ranking were spread evenly across the 13 categories covered. Six categories rose in value and six declined. The financial category remained even with last year. Other factors impacting brand value included t...

Sexting and the College Student

Image
Via: BestCollegesOnline.com As you can imagine, sexting is no big deal for most college students . In fact, as many as four out of five engage in sexting, even though it can lead to more than just embarrassment, especially if a minor is involved. According to one survey, 56% of students admitted to receiving sexually suggestive images and 78% of students admitted to receiving sexually suggestive messages. So what can students and the society do about it? I’m not sure, but this could be a potential problem since it’s so widely spread. A Day in the Life of a College Student

Image
Presented By: BachelorsDegreeOnline.com  College Students and Spending  My experience tells me that college students are guilty of unwise spending on a fairly regular basis. I'm not trying to say students are irresponsible with their money (although, of course, some are), but that they're not as responsible with it as they could be. And I think most of that relates simply to a lack of knowledge or experience.  Parents can go a long way to help alleviate this deficiency by simply teaching, guiding, and coaching their students with some fairly simple concepts and practices.  Through using these simple concepts and practices, college students can learn better ways to spend money (or not spend it), thus resulting in more money in their pocket. One way of thinking about this concept, is to think about these simple facts: 1. not everyone qualifies for scholarships (and of course, few think they qualify for enough) 2. not everyone qualifies for financial a...
