Charles Dickens's ACTUAL 200th birthday happens to fall on the day when I'm blogging at The History Girls. This is, however, such a momentous occasion that I am not blogging today but instead joining together with my fellow History Girls to invite all our readers, young and old, to a virtual birthday party in the proper Dickensian style.
